Details: Two session diabetes education class offered at multiple Phoenix Library locations. Covers Blood Glucose Monitoring, Medications, Activity/Exercise, Nutrition-Carbohydrate counting.

Details: ADA recognized programs in Arizona. We offer comprehensive Diabetes Self Management Training programs for Type 1, Type 2, and gestational diabetes, as well as classes for pre-diabetes. Classes are offered at 3 sites in the east valley. Insulin initiation training is also available.

Details: Four-session diabetes class offered every other week. Facilitated by RN, RD, and fitness specialist. Covers carbohydrate counting, heart-healthy meal planning, medications, complications, goal-setting and physical activity. Include diabetes workbooks, pedometers, meal planners.
